PC pad printing

PC pad printing, also known as screen printing on polycarbonate (PC) materials, is a printing process that applies patterns or text onto the surface of PC materials. Pad printing is a widely used technique that can print on various substrates, including plastics, metals, glasses, and papers. Pad printing on PC materials can create a variety of products with patterns or text, such as mobile phone cases, computer housings, signs, and billboards.

The pad printing process generally includes the following steps:

1.  Preparing the screen, which involves creating a stencil with the desired design or text.

2.  Securing the PC material on the printing table.

3.  Applying ink onto the PC material’s surface through the screen.

4.  Drying or curing to solidify the ink on the PC material.

Pad printing has the following characteristics:

•  Strong adaptability, allowing printing on products of different shapes and sizes.

•  Strong three-dimensional effect, with printed patterns and text having a good sense of relief.

•  Strong light resistance, ensuring that printed patterns and text do not fade easily.

•  Large printing area, suitable for large-area printing.

The advantages of pad printing include simple equipment, easy operation, and low cost, making it suitable for mass production. However, it also has some disadvantages, such as limited expression of multiple colors, higher cost for small batch production, and certain limitations on curvature.
